Six Injured in Vancouver Bus Accident
On Monday
morning, a minibus carrying six passengers turned into a Walmart parking lot,
where it proceeded to accelerate, strike several parked cars, fly over an
embankment, and finally crash into the wall of a local movie props store. All
six people, including the driver, were sent to the hospital.
According to authorities, the bus was in the process of picking up passengers when it began to accelerate at high rate of speed. The minibus then crashed into a hedge, smashing into several parked cars on the road, and careened over a steep embankment. The bus went airborne over the embankment and finally embedded itself into the wall of Filmgo Sales.

At the time,
the bus was contracted out by a community group. Police are currently
investigating whether the Vancouver bus
accident was the result of driver error, or a mechanical failure. The bus
itself is being sent in for mechanical testing.
